The Story

The logline.

The Premise / 01

When a disciplined trauma surgeon takes command of the medical deck aboard a U.S. Navy hospital ship, she must treat critically unstable patients in global hot zones while navigating a rigid military system where collapsing resources force impossible triage choices about who survives.

The World of Mercy

Duty meets survival.

Synopsis / 02

Aboard the U.S. Navy hospital ship Mercy, Dr. Kathryn Baker leads a medical team treating patients where ordinary healthcare systems can no longer function. Every deployment brings a different emergency, from battlefield injuries and natural disasters to the threat of infectious disease. With resources stretched thin, Baker must make life-or-death decisions long before a patient reaches the operating room.

The Conflict

But the medicine is only one battle. Military protocol, international politics, and Captain Marcus Hale's responsibility to protect the ship can collide with Baker's duty to those who need care. As missions intensify, she must hold her team together without losing sight of why they came.
